Narrated by Sigourney Weaver, directed by Annette Sotheran-Barnett, with music and sound design by Pip Greasley and Dale Corderoy, this dramatic movie was released in 2016 to critical acclaim for worldwide distribution in Imax and Full Dome formats.

To Space & Back was the world’s first digital movie to be shot in 8K resolution, stereoscopic 3D, at 60 frames per second. Directed by Annette Sotheran-Barnett and produced by Sky-Skan for The Franklin Institute, USA, To Space & Back has proved one of the most popular FD productions since its release in 2013. Pip Greasley and Dale Corderoy of sonicxploras, composed and produced the dynamic sound score for this pioneering work, as well as creating the sound design in 3D surround utilising Iosono technology.

Originally created in 2006 and revisualised in 3D for 2012, the National Space Centre’s full dome production, Astronaut became the biggest selling show of its era, screening to over 400 planetariums worldwide. Orchestral adviser Will Penney and recorded at Schermerhorn Symphony Center in 3D sound by Blanton Alspaugh of Sound Mirror, Boston, USA.
