A collaboration with digital artist Ernest Edmonds, Constructs:Conducts explores the shifting relationship between pure colour and sound. It was devised as a site specific work for the Satosphere Dome in Montreal,  where human interventions control the sonic timbres and colour hues within a fully immersive 360 degree environment. The work aims to establish a non-hierarchical void within which the audience can bathe, playing with perceptions of surface, proximity and emotion. Inspired by the Ocular Harpsichord and coloratura vocalisations the work interrogates post-digital futures.

ROCKET 3.2.1.

Rocket 3.2.1. is a ground-breaking new music concept for immersive experiences – currently in development with formats for Omni Dome, VR/XR and thematic ride applications.

Rocket 3.2.1 is a collaboration between composer Pip Greasley and songwriter Bruce Woolley (Video Killed the Radio Star, Slave to the Rhythm) to create three dramatic 20 minute shows, based around the art and science of rockets.

The first show ‘Women in Science’ consists of 5 brand new songs celebrating women’s vital contribution to space exploration - all set to stunning 360 spherical imagery.  Each song tells a story: Flyology is about the Victorian mathematician Ada Lovelace who prophesied flight and computers, whilst Rocket Girls rediscovers the unsung heroes who put man on the moon.

I Love The Moon

is a fun and playful track about a teenager determined to be the first woman on the moon. Imagery: Paul Sizer

Astronautica highlights how women like Liu Yang, Mae Jemison, Shawna Pandya and Sally Ride not only broke through the glass ceiling of science, but overcome prejudice to become astronauts. This electro-operatic work explores cultural diversity through a unique blend of multi-lingual text, performed by Chinese, Indian, Afro-American and European singers.

Atom Age Girl completes the 5 song cycle, all performed by Radio Science Orchestra.

Flyology and Astronautica are by Pip. I Love The Moon and Atom Age Girl are by Bruce. Rocket Girls is a collaboration.
